About Me

  • Julius Okiemute was born in Benin City, Edo State in 1990. After my parents separated when I was a preschooler, my grandmothers raised me and my siblings. I spent parts of my childhood in Agbara-Otor, Delta State, where my father’s family was. Years later, my dad remarried, and I left the village to stay with them in Ughelli. My stepmom brought her younger sister Ejiro to live with us, we shared the same room, Ejiro molested me many times at age 10. I kept the secret because I was afraid. Things changed badly, they moved me back to Benin City 2003 for better education, things never got better but worse. After completing primary at Word of Faith Group of Schools, I later became a ruffian and lost control of myself. I could not bear the trauma of rape; it almost destroyed me, I visited almost all the red-light districts in Benin; I involved in many negative things, including hard drugs as a teenager.

  • I wished my parent never separated and stayed to see me grow to be a responsible child, but everything happened for a reason, all the mistakes taught me something deep, as years passed I found my lost soul 2013 in India and has since been a light that illuminates every dark corner of the Universe. I discovered something spiritual to share with the world; I am done crafting a book titled BELIEVE, am ready to take you through some of my journeys; It’s worth reading; It will liberate a soul; enlightenment is beautiful. I found my new self as a humanitarian and a curious writer. After encountering spirituality in Hyderabad, enhancing humanity has since been my aim. Life’s too brief not to live wisely.
